Flour tortilla experiment

I've been craving home made flour tortillas.  I called the expert (mama) for the recipe, and she said, it's just flour, salt, and water.  My next question was "well how much flour etc?"  Mom answered, "I don't know, just enough water so that it's not too wet and form a solid ball of dough".   Oy!   The journey continues.  I bought a rolling pin, went on the internet and pulled a couple of recipe's that sounded like mom's.

It was a valiant effort.  I rolled, stretched, and rolled again.  I just couldn't get those darn tortilla's round enough or thin enough.   I think this one looks like a Hawaiian island.
